Anup Gupta

Anup has partnered with multiple category creating companies across consumer and enterprise technology sectors. Investments include Whitehat Jr (Online coding for kids), Turtlemint (Insurance distribution platform), Paysense (Digital Consumer Credit, acquired by PayU), Talentsprint (Talent transformation, acquired by NSE’s Academy), MoveInSync / WorkInSync (Saas for Smart Workplace), India Shelter (Mortgage loans to middle India), Namaste Credit (Digitizing SME Credit) and others. Previous investments include Netmagic (Cloud hosting, acquired by NTTcom), Unicommerce (Saas for eCommerce, acquired), MakeMytrip (Nasdaq: MMYT).

Previously, Anup was the Group Chief Operating Officer at WNS (NYSE: WNS), where he was responsible for a global business comprising 21,000+ employees across the world. In his 8 year tenure, Anup played a key role in building WNS from its inception into a top tier global company which witnessed rapid growth and listed on the NYSE. Earlier, Anup was with eVentures India, a pioneer in venture capital in India and a Management Consultant at Booz & Company.

Anup graduated at the top of his class from both IIM Calcutta and IIT Kharagpur.
